Refund policy
REFUNDS, EXCHANGES + CANCELLATIONS:
We hope that you are completely happy with your purchase, however if you are not we do accept returns for all items, excluding digital downloads and personalised items.
How to return: If you wish to create a return for your order please contact us at hello@thatcraftystitch.co.uk within 14 days of your order being received. Or alternatively log into your customer account here and request a return.
Cost of returns: Customers are responsible for all costs incurred for returning items unless the item in question is faulty or incorrect. All returned items must be received in the same condition they were sent out in.
How will I be refunded? You will be refunded via the original method of payment.
How long does a refund take? We will only issue refunds once the items have been received so dependant on your location and the shipping method used to send the items back to us this will vary. As soon as we receive the items, we will quality check them and issue the refund for the products, providing they are in the expected condition.
Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges, however you are welcome to return your order and place a new order.
Cancellations: We allow customer to cancel their orders until the order has been marked as fulfilled, at this point the item has left our premises and therefore is not eligible for cancellation. You will need to request a return and cover the cost of the items return to us as per the cost of returns policy above.
Incorrect Customer Address Used: In the event that you (the customer) inputs the incorrect address for their order, the full cost of postage for re-sending a replacement will be the customers responsibility.
Digital Downloads: Are not eligible for a refund.

ADDITIONAL YARN REQUESTS:
Customer changes mind: In some circumstance we understand you may decide to create a larger sized clothing kit, which would require additional yarn. In this circumstance we are unable to send out additional yarn free of charge. Any additional yarn required must be purchased separately.
Customer runs out of yarn: In some circumstances you may require additional yarn to complete your project. This maybe for many reasons.
For any of the following reasons we are not able to send out additional yarn. In any of these circumstances the customer will be responsible for ordering more yarn at their own cost;
- Customers tension is looser than project requires, a gauge swatch was not tested before starting the project and the relevant measures were not taken to correct tension.
- Customer desires a longer length item than pattern dictates.
- Customer has used different tools not recommended by the pattern.
- Customer has not followed the pattern.
Only the following reasons will be criteria for additional yarn being supplied;
- The yarn the customer has received has significant faults resulting in not being able to be used at all.
- There is an error in the pattern.
